Congratulations to Ms. Jasmine Lane for her recent designation as a Class of 2023 Curriculum Associates Extraordinary Educator! Mr. Chambers stopped by Plew Elementary School to present her with an OCSD Challenge Coin in front of her 4th grade class.
She is one of 30 teachers across the nation who uses i-Ready to illustrate growth and achievement through formal assessments of their students. Ms. Lane combines high standards and a great rapport with her students to help them achieve their goals. She teaches Math and Science to very enthusiastic students who shared their love of Ms. Lane with Mr. Chambers!
Ms. Lane will attend professional development in Boston this summer with the other Extraordinary Educators and bring back valuable tips for our teachers!
