In accordance with the provisions of Florida law, The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida hereby gives notice that it will consider the approval of a contract for the purchase of real property located in Crestview, Florida from Wingard Family, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, which parcel of land contains approximately eighty (80) +/- acres. A public hearing on the proposed purchase contract will be held at 6:15 p.m., on February 27, 2023 at the School Board’s Central Administration Complex, located at 202 Highway 85 North, Niceville, Florida. The meeting is open to the press and public.
Any interested party who decides to appeal any decision made by the Okaloosa County School Board with respect to any matter considered during this meeting, will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the School Board for the introduction or admission of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
