Controlled Open Enrollment

The Controlled Open Enrollment Application window is open January 15 through February 15.

Controlled Open Enrollment, also known as COE, is for families who would like their student to attend a school they are not zoned to attend. Please visit our Controlled Open Enrollment website to get answers to Frequently Asked Questions, view our School Capacity Report (which schools have available seats), and more!

The student's parent/guardian must apply for COE and the application is completed in the Focus Parent Portal.

If your student has already been approved for their current school through Controlled Open Enrollment, you do not need to apply again, their seat is reserved for them next school year.

Please note that not all schools have availability. You can view our school capacity report on the Controlled Open Enrollment website, which lists the schools that have available seats. Parents are responsible for arranging transportation of students who are approved for COE to and from school. Transportation will not be provided. Ready to apply?

How to submit an application for Controlled Open Enrollment
