The organization presented a check for $6000 to Principal Stephanie Wheat, who expressed appreciation to the Eglin Federal representatives and Commissioner Mel Ponder for coordinating their introduction. Each teacher at Silver Sands will receive $300 to purchase much-needed resources to educate their special needs students.
