PUBLIC NOTICE
THE OKALOOSA COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD will hold a Public Hearing during its Regular Meeting on September 12, 2022, at 6:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard, for the purpose of receiving public input and considering approval of the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year Budget and Millage Rate. This Regular Meeting will be held in the Training Room at the School District Central Administration Complex, located at 202 Highway 85 North, Niceville, Florida. This meeting is open to the press and public and will be live streamed for the convenience of the public via www.okaloosaschools.com.
Any interested party who decides to appeal any decision made by the Okaloosa County School Board with respect to any matter considered during this meeting, will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the School Board for the introduction or admission of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
