On Monday, April 27, Superintendent Marcus Chambers proudly presented the America 250 Proclamation at the Okaloosa County School Board Meeting, officially designating April 27, 2026, as America 250 Celebration Day in the Okaloosa County School District.
This historic initiative provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students, staff, families, and community to reflect on our nation’s history, honor the sacrifices that shaped our freedoms, and celebrate the enduring spirit of America.
Throughout this school year and continuing into the next, students across the district are participating in America 250 activities through academics, athletics, and the arts. From student contests to special performances, parade participation, and school celebrations, our students are proudly helping commemorate this milestone anniversary.
