The Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) Academic Team was recognized at the April 27, 2026, School Board meeting for earning 1st place in Division II at the Commissioner’s Academic Challenge. The OCSD Team Students demonstrated outstanding academic knowledge, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the competition.

The Commissioner’s Academic Challenge, established in 1986, is a statewide academic competition that highlights student achievement across multiple subject areas, including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, fine arts, world languages, physical education, health, and technology. Each year, teams from across Florida compete for top honors in this rigorous event.
