The Okaloosa County School District is grateful for the continued generosity of the Fort Walton Beach Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2193, which has been supporting efforts to help students across the district since 2022. To date, the organization has donated more than $17,000 to help pay down student lunch debt at elementary schools throughout Okaloosa County. Most recently, the Moose Lodge contributed $6,000 to benefit Edwins Elementary School, Mary Esther Elementary School, and Walker Elementary School.
“The continued support from the Fort Walton Beach Moose Lodge has made a meaningful difference for our students and families,” said Stephen Anderson, Food Services Program Director. The Fort Walton Beach Moose Lodge remains in close contact with the Okaloosa County School District Food Services to regularly assess needs and offer support where it is most needed.
“Community partners like the Fort Walton Beach Moose Lodge exemplify what it means to invest in our students,” said Superintendent Marcus Chambers. “Their continued generosity and dedication help support the whole child and strengthen our mission to serve students and families across Okaloosa County.”
