Educational Support Professionals at the School Board Meeting

The Okaloosa County School Board issued a proclamation declaring that Wednesday, November 19, 2025, be recognized as National Education Support Professionals (ESP) Day to celebrate and appreciate our paraprofessionals, bus drivers and aids, custodians, lunchroom workers, secretaries, translators, and so many more. Our ESPs work alongside other caring adults to help our students get what they need to succeed.

Superintendent Marcus Chambers expressed his deep appreciation for educational support professionals, highlighting their essential role in keeping the school district running smoothly—from early morning bus drivers and custodians to staff who greet and support students and maintain school facilities. He emphasized that every staff member is a vital part of the district’s success, acknowledging their dedication, professionalism, diverse skills, and impact, and expressed gratitude for their daily contributions before reading a formal proclamation in their honor.

Join us in observing this special day by expressing our gratitude to our ESPs for their commitment and dedication to the school system.
