In celebration of its 65th anniversary, Trinity United Methodist Church declared a Jubilee year, a time of reflection, gratitude, and giving back to the community. As part of the celebration, Trinity set a goal to help pay down outstanding lunch debt at Shalimar Elementary School, totaling $906. The congregation’s generosity exceeded expectations. The October collection not only met the goal for Shalimar Elementary but also provided over $400 to help reduce lunch debt at Pryor Middle School. In addition, contributions helped clear outstanding tuition balances for Trinity Preschool families.

“We are so grateful for Trinity United Methodist Church’s generosity and support of our students and families,” said Amy Klugh, Principal of Shalimar Elementary School. “Acts of kindness like this truly make a difference and remind our students that their community cares about them.”

Superintendent Marcus Chambers added, “Trinity United Methodist Church has a long history of giving back to Okaloosa schools, and this is another wonderful example of how our community rallies around students. We are incredibly thankful for their partnership and continued commitment to supporting education.”
