The Okaloosa County School District is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of Pineview School, a new K–8 campus set to serve families in the Crestview area beginning in August 2026. This expansion reflects the District’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality education and accommodating growth in northern Okaloosa County.
As part of the launch, the District is conducting a review of attendance boundaries for northern schools. The goal is to ensure balanced enrollment across campuses while maintaining equitable access to educational resources.
To support transparency and community engagement, families are invited to attend a Community Information Meeting at their local school. These meetings will offer an overview of the proposed zoning changes and provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to ask questions and share feedback.
While attendance is not required, participation is encouraged for those interested in learning more about how the changes may affect their student. Please note that attendance boundaries will not be finalized until the School Board votes on the plan in October.
