This prestigious title is awarded to schools ranked in the 80th percentile or higher for at least two of the last three school years based on their school grade calculation.

The Schools of Excellence program was established in 2017 under HB 7069 by the Florida Legislature. Its goal is to acknowledge and reward the highest-performing schools in Florida, promoting ongoing improvement and providing administrative flexibility to ensure the delivery of top-quality education to students.
