Longwood Elementary School participated in the 2nd Annual Valentines for Veterans event sponsored by the Northwest Florida Military Officers Association (NWFMOA) at Bob Hope Village. Students created over 350 handmade valentines to provide to the retired military residents. NWFMOA President Fran Hendricks, Brigadier General Retired, USAF, coordinated the project which he hopes will become a lasting partnership with Longwood Elementary School.
