The latest update this afternoon from Okaloosa County Emergency Management continues to suggest no significant impact on Okaloosa Schools from Tropical Storm Idalia.
All school operations will continue as normal.

Based on current projections, Tropical Storm Idalia is not projected to make landfall in our area. We will continue to consult with local emergency management officials and provide families with updates as they are available. Based on this information, school operations are normal for Okaloosa County.

School District officials are closely monitoring tropical weather entering the Gulf of Mexico with local emergency management officials to determine potential impact on our area of the state this upcoming week.
