On Saturday, August 19th, the OCSD Family came together for the 2nd Annual Hype on the Harbor Community Pep Rally at HarborWalk Village to celebrate the beginning of the school year. Choctaw, Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville High Schools competed for the Hype on the Harbor Spirit Stick and it was intense and fun!
The Spirit Stick was awarded to the school who had the most points which could be earned through their social media campaign, collecting canned food, fans checking in at the Coca Cola Hydration Tent, participation in mini events on stage, and of course overall school spirit! Congratulations to Fort Walton Beach High for winning.
It was amazing to see the students not only cheer on their school but also Team OCSD. Thank you to HarborWalk Village for hosting this fun event, we cannot wait to see who wins the spirit stick next year!
