Okaloosa County School District Recognized for Anti-Vaping Campaign

On behalf of the Florida Department of Health and Tobacco-Free Florida and Students Working Against Tobacco, Elizabeth Smith, Health Officer/CHD Administrator, Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County, recognized the Okaloosa County School District’s Anti-Vaping Campaign efforts with a plaque at the June 12th School Board meeting.

“We're grateful for your efforts and partnership in educating your staff, students, and parents on the dangers of anti-vaping and encouraging students to make choices that are positive for their health and for their education,” said Smith. “We look forward to continuing our partnership and preventing students from using these devices. Thank you for prioritizing this pressing public health concern.”
