Superintendent Chambers stopped by Ruckel Middle School to surprise one of our rockstar math teachers, Mrs. Karmen Broaddus. We found out she won not only the 2023 AFA Chapter 398 Hurlburt Teacher of the Year award for Ruckel Middle School but also the overall Teacher of the Year Award! She will receive a certificate, two checks totaling $500, and a scholarship to attend the US Space and Rocket Center's Educator Space Camp this summer! She will be recognized at the Annual Awards Recognition Banquet, where she will receive a citation from Congressman Gaetz, but we couldn't wait to celebrate this fantastic accomplishment! Congratulations, Mrs. Broaddus!
