The School Board unanimously approved the selection of Dustin Keith as the Seat Management Specialist during the February 25 Board meeting.

After leaving the USCG, Keith began his career with Okaloosa County School District as a Social Studies teacher at Crestview High School.

“I have had the opportunity to teach at grade levels 6-12 during my seven years of teaching,” said Keith.

Keith graduated from Troy State in 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and was then selected to serve as Dean of Students at Max Bruner JR Middle School for last 2 school years.  He resides in Crestview with his wife Erin and their 9 year old son Dylan.

“I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve Okaloosa County Schools as the Seat Management Specialist,” said Keith.
