The Controlled Open Enrollment (COE) Application window is open from January 15 through February 15. COE is for families who would like their students to attend a school they are not zoned to attend. The student's parent/guardian must apply for COE and the application is completed in the Focus Parent Portal.

If your student has already been approved for their current school through Controlled Open Enrollment, you do not need to apply again, their seat is reserved for the next school year.
Please note that not all schools have availability. You can view our school capacity report on the Controlled Open Enrollment website, which lists the schools that have available seats. Parents are responsible for arranging transportation of students who are approved for COE to and from school. Transportation will not be provided. Ready to apply?
