Below you will find links to the Kindergarten Report Card and the parent guide for each semester. (Semester 2 parent guide will be posted when it is available.) The parent guide explains the standards/topics we will cover each quarter.

When checking your child’s grades on the OCSD Focus Parent Portal, the report card rubric will come in handy to help you understand what your child’s grades mean.

Only Reading and Math use the rubric for grades. Science, Social Studies, Music, and PE are graded using S(satisfactory) or N (needs improvement).

Please keep in mind when you are looking at the kindergarten report card rubric, not every standard is covered in every quarter and that we are working towards an end-of-year expectation of a level 3 for each standard.
