We are also having a Spirit Night fundraiser at Tijuana Flats Monday November 4 from 5-8. Mention Elliott Point and a portion of the proceeds will go to support our school clubs including , Chess Club, Multicultural Council (MCC) and HOPE Squad. We look forward to seeing you there. We can not wait to see our Eagles tomorrow morning. As we start the 2nd nine weeks, we are going to focus on increasing attendance as well as being on time. Remember we can not help the students reach their maximum potential if they are not here. Help us emphasize the importance of attendance and being on time with your child as we start the this new nine weeks of school. Doors open @ 7:15, Instruction begins at 7:50 am.
We also look forward to seeing a great turn out tomorrow for our 2nd and 3rd grade parent information night from 5:00-6:00. Daycare will be provided in the media center.

We are looking forward to another great turn out for annual Kindergarten & 1st grade parent informational nights. This will be Wednesday , 10/9 from 5:00-:6:00. The information presented is specific for those grade level and daycare will be provided.-See Facebook/your teacher for details.
We are rescheduling OPEN house for a later date and will let you know when a date has been agreed on.
This Friday 10/11 is the last day of the grading period for the 1st nine weeks. Please remind your child to stay focused and finish this week strong. Next Monday, 10/14 is a Teacher Work day-No School for students.

Please join us to celebrate National Walk to School day on Wednesday, Oct. 2nd at Uptown station. Arrival is between 6:30AM -7:00 AM. We will be leaving to walk to Elliott Point shortly after 7:00. We will meet in the parking lot next to Buffalo Wild Wings. This has been an annual tradition and we look forward to having another great turn out. The mayor of FWB will be joining us as well as local city council members including local law enforcement. For the 2nd year in a row , we are happy to have McCallister's Deli sponsoring us w/ some light refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there. Details are also posted on our Facebook.

9/16- @ 8 AM ( 20 min) Volunteer training in the media center-anyone interested in going on field trips/Volunteering must complete the volunteer affidavit online and watch the volunteer training video every year. We will provide multiple trainings throughout the year, this is the just the first one.
9/18-4th & 5th grade Parent Night 5:00-6:00- It takes ALL of us. We are looking for a great turn out. Please take 1 hour to learn how to support your child in the classroom and help maximize their potential.
