.This week we Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week as we acknowledge our wonderful educators for all they do for our students. Please take a moment to let them know how much they are appreciated. We are also continuing our FAST assessments as Our Eagles (K-5) continue to "Show what they Know " on PM 3 end of the year assessment. A few friendly reminders: -Please be on time ( testing will start after the announcements @ 8:00) -Get plenty of rest , Eat a good breakfast ,Take time and work productively, encourage them to do their best, and most of all Bring a positive Attitude-We’ve got this!!!! Parents, Elliott Point is always looking for creative ways to support our families and school community. We are exploring the idea of possibly hosting a school based daycare for the 25-26 school year. However we need to see if there is an interest in doing so. The Okaloosa County School District has been made aware of scam phone calls targeting parents. In these calls, individuals falsely claim that a student has an outstanding lunch balance and instructs the parent to "press 1" to make a payment immediately. Please be advised: • The Okaloosa County School District does not contact families by phone to request payment in this manner. • Any legitimate communication regarding student meal accounts would come through official district channels. • In the recently reported case, the scammer provided incorrect student information and used what appeared to be a local phone number, which may have been spoofed. If you receive a suspicious call, do not provide personal or payment information. Instead, hang up and contact your child's school or the district's Food Services Department directly for verification. Thank you for helping us keep our families informed and protected.

Parents, Many of our students will begin their state testing (F.A.ST) on Thursday, so please make sure they are here on time. We are truly excited for our Eagles to "show what they know" and show how much they have grown academically from the first day of school. Reach out to your child's teacher for specific testing dates for your child. Parents, Bus 21-12 (shark bus) will not be running its route today. If your child normally rides 21-12 (shark bus) , they will either be riding 23-10 ( Sea Turtle) or 21-05 (Dolphin) bus today. Please plan on the bus being delayed anywhere up to 30-40 minutes behind schedule. Thank-You for your understanding

Parents, we had a successful Career Day and our Eagles had the opportunity to meet some amazing presenters today. Please ask them which one was their favorite. Don't forget tomorrow is National Pajama Day (school appropriate). Go 🦅

Tomorrow is a Special Day at Elliott Point for numerous reasons . We will be hosting our 2nd Annual Career Day, as we have numerous presenters from local businesses talking to our students about their professions. We highly encourage our students to dress up as their favorite profession. Is is also National Purple up day as we celebrate April as the month of the Military Child . Please add something purple to your outfit. Thank-you for supporting our Eagles as they Soar Towards Careers !

Parents, We want to wish our Archery Team Good Luck as they compete in the State Archery Tournament in Gainesville, FL this weekend. Good Luck Archers and Soar High! -April is the month of the Military Child and we proudly support our Military and their families We will have various things planned throughout the month including encouraging students to have something with purple on Tuesday for National Purple Up Day ( 4/15). -4/15 is also our 2nd annual Career Day at EP. We will have numerous presenters talking to students and highly encourage our students to dress up for their favorite career. ( you can add something purple as well for Purple Up) Have a Wonderful Weekend

Parents, Next week is a special week as we take time to celebrate National Assistant Principal's week. As many of you know we have one of the best in Mrs. Mannucci. Her passion and dedication is unmatched and we are very lucky to have her at Elliott Point. We know our 4th and 5th grade students are going to Soar tomorrow on their F.A.S.T Writing assessment. Please make sure they arrive on time and remind them to do their best. We will start testing tomorrow morning so as a reminder school instruction time starts at 7:50 am and they can arrive on campus as early as 7:15. Parents, The 4th quarter has arrived and just like you we want our students to finish the year focused and strong. We are working hard to maximize each students potential so they can show what they know as we approach the state testing window ( ELA/Math/Science) during the first week in May for all grades. Attendance and being on time is crucial as well as reminders about keeping academics at the forefront would be appreciated. Thank-You This week our 4th and 5th graders will be taking the F.A.S.T Writing Assessment on April 2nd , so please make sure they are on time by 7:50 AM as we will be starting shortly after.
