Destin Elementary School has been named a 2024–2025 Schools of Excellence by the Florida Department of Education, recognizing their sustained academic achievement and top-tier performance by ranking in the 80th percentile or higher for at least two of the past three years. This honor celebrates the dedication of students, educators, and school leaders at the recognized campuses.
