Get ready for Literacy Week January 22-26!
Celebrate Literacy Week 2024 is celebrated next week (January 22-26). This year’s theme is Believe in Your “Shelf” – Building Resiliency Through Reading! We have some fun events planned!

Mr. Adam's classes did peer reviews of their thesis statements for their National History Day projects. They are developing a thesis statement that addresses a narrow topic and connects that topic with the theme--all in 40 to 60 words!

Mr. Mortensen's CTE classes are learning to create 3D designs using Tinkercad. They are discovering how to place and combine objects to make a file for the 3D printer.

Check out some of the highlights of our STEMM science fair! We are proud of their persistence and perseverance in successfully completing their science fair projects--a journey that required hard work, dedication, and a passion for discovery. 🏆👩🔬🏆👨🔬🏆

Celebrating success! 64 Stingers aced the first semester, making the A honor roll. They were treated to a Glow Party with music, lights, snacks, and ice cream. Congratulations to these high-achieving Stingers on leveling up academically! 🎉📚✨

Mr. Flynn is our Teacher of the Month. A student says, "I will NEVER forget Mr. Flynn. He was an amazing teacher in 6th grade, helping me with all of my needs, getting students to work together, and pulling them in one-on-one sessions about their grades.."

This month, Dr. Courtney got the Growth Mindset award for implementing high impact strategies. Mrs. Ball got the Heart Award for always being patient with her challenging students. Miss Ramirez got Teamwork Award for making intentional connections between Middles and Littles.

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for demonstrating our Core Values each and every day!

At Incubate debate tournament, middle and high school students were evaluated by U.S. Army service members, members of the state judiciary, and local college professors. Congratulations to Ashlynn for first place in the middle school level!
