Help Coach Our STEMM Robotics Team!
Okaloosa STEMM Academy is looking for volunteers to help coach our FIRST LEGO League (FLL) robotics team this season!
FLL coaches help students build much more than robots. Coaches support students as they develop teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, confidence, organization, and STEM skills while preparing for FIRST LEGO League competitions.
This year’s challenge, BIOGLOW , focuses on biodiversity and how it helps keep our planet healthy. Students will explore the season theme, develop solutions, test and improve their ideas, and share what they have learned.
As a coach, you’ll help students work together, stay organized and on task, brainstorm solutions, prepare for competitions, learn from mistakes, and celebrate their successes. You do not need to be an engineer, programmer, or robotics expert to help coach the team.
