Good afternoon parents. This is Mr. Nuss, Principal of Elliott Point Elementary School. Today we went into a brief precautionary response to an unscheduled alarm activation during dismissal at our school. It was quickly determined that an alarm was activated due to a faulty sensor. Once this was confirmed by law enforcement, our additional safety protocols were lifted. Safety is our top priority. We are so proud of our Eagles for doing and amazing job during this unscheduled event. Thank you and have a good day.

It is hard to believe we are now in the 4th quarter of school. This is such an important time or year for so many reasons and we need you help to make sure our Eagles are in attendance everyday so they can reach their maximum potential. It will not be long before our Eagles will be taking the FAST ELA/Math/Science assessments, in May where they will have the opportunity to SOAR and show what they have learned throughout the school year.
-This Tuesday, 3/31 our 4th and 5th graders will kick things off by taking the F.A.S.T Writing assessment. Please make sure they are here on time, as we will be starting the Writing assessment (4th and 5th) first thing in the morning.
-Don't forget EP has a school based daycare that opens as early as 6AM and ends at 6PM, We would love to have you. please the attached document for prices/details or our Facebook/website.

We would would like to give a huge shout out to our Elliott Point coaches for running a fantastic field day event the last 2 days. This could not have happened without the support and encouragement of our families so thank you so much for your help. Tomorrow is the last day of the 3rd nine weeks and we wish everyone a safe and happy Spring break. Students return Tuesday, March 24th.

Day 1 of EP field day (s) was a huge success and we look forward to carrying that momentum into tomorrow for 1st, 2nd and 5th. ALL parking will be across the street at Ferry Park , follow the sidewalk and signs to the entrance to the west side of the school.
Gates open at 7:20, and events start at 8:00. All concessions are $1.00 , cash only.
All check outs will go directly through the classroom teacher. Please note siblings won't be allowed to get checked out to watch other siblings as instruction is still going on.

Please joins us from 4-8PM on Tuesday, Match 3rd to support our Archery Team at the FWB SK8 center. They are hosting a skating fundraiser to raise funds for the upcoming State Tournament in Gainesville, FL.
As a reminder Field days are 8-11:00: Day 1- March 10th-K,3rd,4th, & Day 2 March 11th-1st, 2nd, 5th.
All parking will be across the street at Ferry Park and then follow the side walk to the back of the school.
