Mid-Year Data and Calendar Update
As you know, our students take a learning diagnostic three times a year. This information allows us to direct individual learning paths and also determine how we, as a school, are doing.
I am happy to report that Edwins' students performed VERY well on our midyear FAST diagnostic. When we compare our data to
last year, we are ahead midyear in nearly every subject and grade! Ask you child if they met their learning goal.
At Edwins we set GOALS because Goal Setters are Goal Getters! Our continued growth is a tribute to the students, teachers and families that make up the Edwins Community.

Okaloosa County Schools will be closed November 24th - 28th for the Thanksgiving Holidays.

Just a reminder that today is the last day of the first 9 week grading period. Monday is a Teacher Workday/ Student Holiday. We look forward to seeing our students back on campus Tuesday, October 14 to start the second half of the first semester!
OCSD Schools and offices will be closed Monday, September 1, 2025 in observance of Labor Day. Classes and regular office hours will resume Tuesday, September 2nd 2025.
Jr. Voyagers Discovery Center
Our daycare serves students from 6-8 am each morning and from 3-6 each day after school. Registration is $30 and our weekly rates are listed below. Our contract with ELC is in it's final stages and we hope to be approved at the next board meeting. We will then be able to take vouchers!! We will announce when this goes through. We are so excited to welcome Ms. Ebony Smith as our new Daycare Coordinator. She joins us with a wealth of experience and a love of children.

Construction Update: Our construction project is moving along nicely and we still have a tentative completion date of early December. Our roofing project has been held up due to rain, but will hopefully be finished in the next month or so. As a reminder, we are renovating our old cafeteria into a Media Center, Stem Lab, conference room, teacher work room & multiple offices. Our old Media Center is becoming our Student Intervention Center containing ESE, Title and Tutoring Support. Good things are happening at Edwins. Here are a few pics to show you our progress. Thanks again to the citizens and our 1/2 cent sales tax. That money has gone a long way at Edwins.
