OCSD: After consulting with Okaloosa County Director of Public Safety Patrick Maddox, the District is cancelling after school activities today and closing schools Tuesday, January 9th in the best interest of the safety of students and staff. There is an Enhanced Risk for severe weather that will produce strong thunderstorms, severe winds with gusts up to 70 mph, and the possibility of tornadoes in the EF2+ category.
