The Okaloosa County School District is implementing new software for school bus route coordination in the 2025-26 School Year. We are asking parents to request or deny transportation services so we can begin creating our routes in the new software and prepare for staffing needs. Enrolling parents currently have a Transportation Request Form available in their FOCUS Parent Portal, which can be completed now by clicking “Form Summary” under each child’s name. Starting Monday, May 12, enrolling parents will be prompted to complete this form prior to accessing your normal account view.
If your student does not need school transportation, simply select “No” and click Submit at the bottom of the form. You will then proceed to your Parent Portal as usual.
If your student does need transportation, please select “Yes”, and complete the address fields for both morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off locations. This process should take approximately 1-2 minutes to complete and will help us develop more efficient school bus routes for the 2025-26 school year. You may also include any additional details in the “Additional Information” box such as:
Before and after school childcare arrangements
Pertinent information that is not related to pickup/drop off locations
The information collected in this form will help us to better serve your child(ren) in the coming school year. After submitting the form, you will be directed to your normal Parent Portal view.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. Your assistance is greatly appreciated as we begin planning for the 2025-26 school year.
