Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is an amazing time of year! We continue to see tremendous academic growth as we carry momentum into the final nine weeks of the school year; remember the school year is not over…. yet. The power of yet … encourages a growth mindset by framing challenges like temporary setbacks rather than insurmountable failure. Yet, reminds us that it is a process. We have embraced the idea that we are all “Setting Goals to Success” and that means emphasizing academic growth, with an understanding that it looks differently for everyone.
April is one of the most important months of the year as our students are Locking it in and getting ready for the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking or F.A.S.T. that will be administered during the first two weeks of May. But we are not there yet…. . We are all excited for our students, so please help us remind them to stay focused in the classroom and finish this school year strong.
