Today we had a ribbon cutting for our new PreK playground. This fixture will serve 4 classrooms of students with and without disabilities. So thankful for our district’s support for this accessible play space!

We are excited to celebrate Ms. Reeder during Assistant Principal’s Week. She wears a lot of hats at Edwins and they all look good on her. You’re amazing and we are lucky to have you!

Spring Pictures are this Friday - 3/29

Okaloosa County Schools will be closed for the Spring Break Holidays March 15 - 22, 2024. March 25 is a Teacher Workday / Student Holiday. Enjoy your break!

Valentine's Candy Grams will be sold 2/5 - 2/9. $1 each or $20 for a class set. Funds raised will be donated to the Edwins Archery team.

Jr. Viking Santa Shop Volunteers & Donations Needed: All of our students are invited to shop at the Jr. Viking Santa shop on Dec 20 and 21. All items are available for purchase with Viking Bucks!! No cash is needed. Students love to shop for their family and friends at this great annual event. We need you! Please let the front office know if you are able to volunteer to help shoppers pick out items or help them wrap their presents. We also need wrapping paper and supplies.

Winter Break begins with early dismissal on December 21, 2023, and continues through January 5th for students. 》December 21st - Early Release @ 1:55 p.m. 》January 4th- Teacher workday/student holiday 》January 5th- District-wide professional development day/student holiday 》January 8th- Students' first day of the 2nd semester!

Don't forget to Fall Back on Sunday, November 5th at 2 AM.

Our Jr. Viking Power Crew needs YOU. If you want to help out at Edwins, please go the the FB page dedicated to our parent support efforts. The Junior Viking Power Crew works to maintain and run our Viking Store, support the teachers with treats throughout the year, and volunteer in classrooms and the office. We need you and your support means so much to the students and staff.

Internet and Phones are currently down at Baker School, Laurel Hill School, and Edwins Elementary. We are working with the service provider to restore service. We will provide updates as we receive them!
