National Box Tops Week is the biggest earning opportunity of the year!
From October 13–19, you can:
• Earn double on every participating product when you scan your receipt on or before 10/19.*
• Buy 4 participating products, earn 20 Bonus Box Tops when you scan your receipt on or before 10/19.†
• Refer a friend and if your friend scans their first receipt before the end of the month, you’ll earn 50 Bonus Box Tops — and so will your friend.‡

It’s quick and easy:
1️⃣ Type the school name into the search box, select the state, and click Search.
2️⃣ Choose your school from the list.
3️⃣ Select Get Code next to the picture day.
4️⃣ Enter your child’s last name + student ID, then click Search.
5️⃣ Click on the student code to view and order your child’s pictures!

Arrival – Southside Primary School
We are so excited to welcome our Tiger Cubs back on Monday, August 11th! This will be the only day parents may walk their children to class. We ask that you please arrive at your scheduled time to help keep traffic flowing smoothly. Because parking is very limited and our 70+ staff members also need spaces, we encourage families to use the car rider line just as you would on a regular school day.
Breakfast Students: 7:30–7:50 a.m. (Arrival after 7:50 means breakfast will not be available.)
Non-Breakfast Elementary VPK Students: Please drop off between 7:45–7:55 a.m.
Reminder: Blended & PreK-D classes eat breakfast together.
Car Rider Line: Closes at 7:55 a.m., then buses will unload at 8:00 a.m.
Walkers ONLY will come in through the office.
PreK-D Car Riders Only can line up on Brett Street starting at 8:10 a.m.at the first cone, do not go past it.
After buses are released, staff will guide PreK-D families forward for unloading.
Our team will be ready and excited to assist every student!
If you are walking your child in on Monday, please wait until all car riders and bus riders have cleared the ramps before entering. PARKING WILL BE VERY LIMITED making it difficult. Do NOT block our neighbors driveways or our business partners surrounding the school parking lots. Thank you!

Did you know Florida’s Back to School Sales Tax Holiday is now permanent and runs the entire month of August? From August 1–31, families can save on essential school items tax-free — including clothing, school supplies, learning aids, and even personal computers!

Please note: School supply lists are provided individually by each school. Many of our secondary teachers will share their specific supply requests during orientation or on the first day of school. Reach out to your school if you have any questions!

The Okaloosa County School District has been made aware of scam phone calls targeting parents. In these calls, individuals falsely claim that a student has an outstanding lunch balance and instructs the parent to "press 1" to make a payment immediately.
Please be advised:
• The Okaloosa County School District does not contact families by phone to request payment in this manner.
• Any legitimate communication regarding student meal accounts would come through official district channels.
• In the recently reported case, the scammer provided incorrect student information and used what appeared to be a local phone number, which may have been spoofed.
If you receive a suspicious call, do not provide personal or payment information. Instead, hang up and contact your child's school or the district's Food Services Department directly for verification. Thank you for helping us keep our families informed and protected.

Next Thursday, March 13, is the last day of the 3rd 9-week grading period. Spring Break begins on Friday, March 14, and continues through Friday, March 21. Monday, March 24, is a Teacher Workday. Students return for the 4th and final 9-week grading period of the 2024-2025 school year on Tuesday, March 25. We hope everyone has a safe and restful week off!
