The Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) is a progress monitoring system that is administered three times per year to track your student’s progress in learning the Benchmarks of Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards throughout this school year.
Students in Grades 3, 4, and 5 will participate in the first Progress Monitoring (PM1) of the FAST ELA and Math assessment according to the schedule below:
August 24 – Grades 3 and 5 - ELA
August 29 – Grades 3 and 5 - Math
August 25 – Grade 4 - ELA
August 30 – Grade 4 - Math

Students in Grades K, 1, and 2 will take the Renaissance Star Early Literacy, Star Reading, and Star Math assessments on the dates scheduled below:
August 25 – Grade 2 – Reading
August 28 – Kindergarten – Early Literacy / Grade 1 – Reading
August 30 – Grade 2 – Math
September 5 – Kindergarten and Grade 1 – Math
