Fund A Scholarship

The Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation's vision is that every student graduating from high school is ready for the next step towards a promising future with post-secondary education goals or workforce-ready skills.  Individuals and corporations in the community can help us achieve this vision by donating to our scholarship program.

There are several ways you can support OPSF Scholarships:

1) Donate to the OPSF Scholarship Program
2) Create a Take Stock in Children Scholarship

TSIC scholarships are designed to help deserving low-income students realize the dream of a college education.  The cost of a 2-year scholarship is approximately $4,000 and a 4-year scholarship is approximately $8,500.  You can create a Named Take Stock in Children Scholarship fund to honor your family or business.

License to Learn

You can help our community's kids find their day in the sun!

Florida’s newly designed Support Education specialty license plate has undergone an overhaul for the first time in 25years, with a fresh look that promotes the importance of education in the Sunshine State. While the look has changed, one thing remains the same –your contributions through the purchase of a Support Education specialty license plate directly support education initiatives right here in Okaloosa County as all funds raised through tag sales directly benefit public education where the tag was purchased.

$20 from every Support Education specialty plate goes directly to the schools in Okaloosa County and will support:

  • Classroom innovation

  • School supplies

  • Education enrichment programs

  • Student scholarships

  • Supporting and recognizing teachers

  • Extra help and mentoring for at-risk students

You can drive learning coast to coast by investing in your local schools today. Learn how supporting education can be a breeze with the purchase of the specialty tag at LicenseToLearnFl.com.

Make A Donation to a Specific School

The Okaloosa County School District receives a great deal of support from businesses and families throughout the year. These donations allow Okaloosa Schools to offer more and better programs - they pay for sports equipment, stadium and field improvement, playground equipment, field trips, laboratory supplies, and much, much more.

If you are interested in helping a school through a direct donation, please contact your school's principal directly. Donations over $500 are approved by the School Board at regular meetings.

The schools are also grateful to receive books for their libraries, art supplies, science lab equipment, and educational toys, such as Legos and K'nex.

Many local businesses participate in "Adopt-a-Classroom" programs, where the businesses help provide supplies to a specific classroom. For more information, contact the principal of the school where you'd like to help.

Thank you for your interest in helping make our district the number one district in the State of Florida!
