The Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation is excited to announce the return of Stuff the Bus, a community-wide school supply drive to support students in need across the district. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Walmart locations in Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville.
Coinciding with Florida’s back-to-school tax-free weekend, Stuff the Bus is the perfect opportunity for families and community members to give back while stocking up on their own school essentials.
In addition to the main event, donation boxes will be placed at various businesses throughout the county to help collect even more supplies. As these collection sites are confirmed, updates will be posted on the Okaloosa County School District website and Facebook page.
This year’s event is made possible through a strong partnership between the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation, the Emerald Coast Association of REALTORS, the Okaloosa County School District, and The Salvation Army Florida Division – Fort Walton Beach Corps.
