Lewis School Holds Math, Science, and Arts Night

On February 27th, Lewis School held its second annual Family Math, Science and Arts Alive night. During the evening, parents and their students rotated around through dozens of hands-on math and science stations. Multiple K-5 math stations focused on the areas of numbers and operations.

The Emerald Coast Science Center was present, bringing with them a variety of stations that allowed students to explore scientific phenomena. Highlighted throughout the evening were Lewis School’s own middle school students’ science fair projects and demonstrations.

Additionally, OVAL art volunteers had several stations where students investigated different art methodologies. Over 300 students and family members were in attendance that evening.

Lewis School also raised $175 that night through concessions for Relay for Life.
