Children In Crisis Thanks Supporters

Several area schools were recognized by Children In Crisis, Inc. (CIC) at the September 11th School Board meeting for their support during the Change for Children fundraiser.

Bluewater Elementary School was the overall winner and the winner of the Elementary division.  Ruckel Middle School won the Middle School division, Choctawhatchee High School won the High School Division, and Lewis School won the K-12 division.

Okaloosa County School District Superintendent Mary Beth Jackson was also presented with Children In Crisis (CIC), Inc.’s “Extra Mile Club” award for her long-time service and support to Children In Crisis.

According to Ken Hair, CIC President & CEO, “Superintendent Jackson has devoted herself to serving the children of our community and the at-risk children living at the CIC Neighborhood.  She is an inspiration to all our staff and has amazing drive.”
