Center for Lifelong Learning Donates a TSIC Scholarship

The Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) recently made a generous donation to the Take Stock in Children Scholarship Program of the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation.  The Center for Lifelong Learning has been a sponsor of and partner with the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation for more than a decade.  Members provide financial support as well as human resources, for several of them serve as mentors for the Take Stock in Children Scholarship Program.   Destiny Lazenby, whose Take Stock Scholarship was funded by the Center for Lifelong Learning, graduated from Florida State University in April of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

The Center for Lifelong Learning, housed at the University of West Florida in Fort Walton Beach, provides interesting educational activities for those in our community who believe that learning never ends.  In addition to educational classes, CLL activities include weekly guest speakers at special events. For additional information, visit their web site at http://www.cll-fwb.org/.
