Dr. Morris is certified by the State of Florida to teach: Mathematics, General Science, Middle School Integrated Curriculum, Exceptional Student Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages
Dr. Morris is also Gifted Endorsed.
Dr. Morris has earned a Master's Degree (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in mathematics and science education, a Specialist's Degree (Ed.S.) in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization Alternative and Special Education, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Alternative and Special Education.
Dr. Morris will be teaching 8th grade US History and 6th grade Earth Space Science during the 2020-2021 school year.
Biography:
Dr. Morris has been teaching in the Okaloosa County School District since 1999. She taught at Davidson and Shoal River Middle Schools and at the Okaloosa Youth Detention Center prior to joining the STEMM Academy faculty in 2013. Primarily a Science and Math teacher during her career, she has also taught Language Arts, Social Studies, and the STEMM Aviation/Research I course.
Dr. Morris has been married for over 30 years to the most perfect husband in the world. Her hobbies include reading, travel, and volunteering with the Emerald Coast Odyssey of the Mind program.
