**SUMMER WORKOUT UPDATES**

 

Summer Workouts Schedule-This year it is going to be different than previous summer workouts!

6th Graders: July 6-10 from 8:00-10:00 a.m.

7th Graders: July 13-17 from 8:00-10:00 a.m.

8th Graders: July 20-24 from 8:00-10:00 a.m.

Reminders:

1.) You have to have sports packets (including physicals) turned into Coach Rose BEFORE you child is able to participate. You can turn this into me the first day of workouts. 

 

2.) You have to remain in your vehicle until I come around and take each players temperature and have yall fill out a COVID-19 form. We have to do this EVERYDAY!

 

3.) Please bring your own water bottles- water fountains are not able to be used at the school.

 

4.) There is a possibility that we will have to use the tennis courts instead of the  gym please be prepared (especially 6th graders) with the correct shoes and attire for outside volleyball

At this time we are developing a plan for summer volleyball workouts according to district policy and CDC guidelines. Please complete the following steps if you are interested in particpating in volleyball at SRMS. 

 

1. All students must have a current physical and athletic packet on file at the school. This is required for all summer and regular season athletic activities and there are NO exceptions. The packet can be downloaded here or your can pick up a copy at SRMS. Please return completed paperwork to the school by July 2. 

 

2. Email Coach Rose at melanie.rose@okaloosaschools.com and provide the following information: 

  • Student name
  • Student grade going into in the fall
  • Parent name
  • Contact number
  • How many years you have played volleyball

 

3. Sign up for the BAND app to receive updates on summer workouts.
