It is with great pride and excitement that I write this introduction as the newly appointed Principal of Shoal River Middle School! It is my honor to have this opportunity to lead a school with a tradition of education excellence. I have worked for the Okaloosa County School District for fifteen years with my most recent administrative experience at Niceville High School. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to SRMS and to work with everyone as we partner together to ensure students’ success.

Working along with the faculty and staff, we will continue to build upon the legacy of success at SRMS by strengthening the relationships with parents, students, and community partners. We will focus on character building, commitment to academic excellence, and caring for the individual student while implementing a curriculum that is rigorous to increase all students’ achievement.

As the Principal of SRMS it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors are excited to be here! This type of attitude equips us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive and safe environment. My door is always open and I welcome your input to make everyone’s experience at SRMS the best it can be. I look forward to working with you as a team to assist each student at Shoal River to reach his or her goals and prepare for a brighter future.

Kindest Regards,

Mr. Craig Miller

Parent Satisfaction Survey

Our district is on a continuous journey to make our schools the best places for students to learn, staff to work and parents to send their children for a great education. In this effort, we appreciate your support. It is important to gather feedback from you to celebrate successes and identify areas for growth. Please take a few minutes and complete this Parent Satisfaction Survey to help provide this feedback.

Once the survey is complete, the results will be analyzed by an outside organization. The data from the survey will be returned to the District to be shared with each school, its parents and the community.

The survey can be accessed online at OCSD Parent Satisfaction Survey.

Our school may also provide you with a paper copy to complete.

The survey will be available through March 13, 2020.

Thank you for your interest in and support of your child’s education with us. Please contact your school if you have any questions concerning the survey.
