Parents and Students who are returning January 26 from My School Online
Students returning to the school building should report to the front entrance of the school by the mustang to receive their class schedules and a school map. Students will also be able to view their schedules in the Parent Portal on Monday, January 25th at 12:00 PM. Teachers will be in the halls on January 26th to help students during class changes and will be flexible with returning students the first few days as they learn their way around the school.

Early last week, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture announced that that they were extending a program which allows Free Breakfast and Lunches to be provided to school students through December 22, 2020. Attention: Please complete the following survey if your child needs a change in school placement for the 2020 school year. Do not complete if your child is already on your chosen educational path. All changes must be made by 9/10/2020.

Students will be receiving information about their online classes through their student email. To access student email, students will use the same as their Classlink user name followed by @student.okaloosaschools.com.

MySchoolOnline student schedules are posted on Parent Portal. Online teachers will make contact with all of their students within the first week of school.
Shoal River Middle School Orientation
Class Schedules
- Type in student’s 10-digit ID number.
- Enter PIN number (this will be the last 4 digits of your student’s ID number).
- Schedule changes will not be honored except for academic purposes.
- The school cannot honor teacher requests/changes.
- Due to the class size guidelines, administration has the right to make any necessary schedule changes.
Health Tech
Shoal River Middle School's Health Tech will be onsite Wednesday, August 26th - Friday, August 28th, 2020.

Mustang Families,
We are working hard to get updates to you as quickly as possible as our plans come together for the 2020-2021 school year. We are happy to announce that we have decided to go to block scheduling which will allow fewer transitions between classes and provide more instructional time to our students. We are diligently working on scheduling for both in school and online students. It is very important that you take the following actions:

Superintendent Marcus Chambers has announced the opening of a new OCSD Registration Portal for the 2020-21 School Year. Through the portal, parents can complete most of the registration process online from home.
