Welcome students and parents!

Hello everyone,

My name is Morena Mannucci and I am your Web Programming teacher here at Pryor Middle School. I am thrilled to work at Pryor and I am so grateful to have, what I believe as, the best job in the world! I am excited to work with you and get to know each and every one of you better. Scroll down to learn a little bit more about me.

My Education

I was born and raised in Italy until I was 19 years old. After high school, I accepted a full ride scholarship for track and field at Eastern Washington University. I graduated from EWU in 2015 with two B.A. in Finance and Economics. After leaving for college I went to University of Tampa to purse a Master's in Science of Finance. I am currently pursuing a Master's of Education Leadership at University of West Florida.

Why I became a Teacher

I believe a part of me has always known that I was going to be a teacher. In college, I worked as an academic tutor at the library for a few years and that’s when I first fell in love with teaching. After graduate school, I realized working in business administration didn’t fulfill me as expected, so I began teaching business course at a high school in North Carolina. Shortly thereafter, my family and I moved to Fort Walton Beach where I met my Pryor family.  As I looked back, the first day I stepped in a classroom, my life changed forever, I felt right at home. I became a teacher in hopes of affecting students the way I was affected when I was young, providing students with more than just knowledge, but a basis and a respect for learning and growth and curiosity that they will carry for the rest of their lives. I hope to do so, and I can't wait to work with each and everyone of you.
