High School Clubs and Activities
Okaloosa County's high schools offer a multitude of clubs and organizations of all different types for students join. Clubs have a sponsor, usually a teacher or staff member, who is dedicated to guiding the club's enriching activities. Clubs are usually self-supporting, so they generally have dues and frequently conduct fund-raisers to pay for their activities.
Participating in clubs is not only fun, it also helps develop leadership, social skills, teamwork, and responsibility. Colleges recruit students who are actively involved in clubs and businesses to look for workers who have these skills.
Check with your child's high school to see what clubs are offered.
