Our schools frequently rely on parent volunteers for a variety of help, from special projects to fund-raising to helping out with art or music programs and so on. Our volunteers have enriched the school experience for thousands of our students, enabling us to offer opportunities that would never have been possible without their help.
If you are interested in volunteering at a school, please contact the school for information about the type of volunteers they are seeking and the time commitment required.
For the safety of our children, all volunteers are asked to submit a volunteer affidavit. We will also perform a FDLE Sexual Predator/Offender background check on all volunteers before they begin service. Mentors volunteers will have a criminal background search conducted by the Office of Community Affairs. Volunteer coaches will be fingerprinted, in accordance with School Board policy.
We are very grateful for all the work that our volunteers do to help make Okaloosa the number one school district in the State of Florida. Thank you!
