Piper Taylor, CHS, Named a TSIC Leaders for Life Scholarship Finalist

Take Stock Scholar, Piper Taylor, a Senior at Choctawhatchee High School, has been selected as one of the 12 finalists in the prestigious Take Stock in Children Leaders for Life Scholarship Competition.

Leaders for Life selects students from around the state of Florida that exemplify extraordinary leadership qualities and experience, exceptional academic performance, and extraordinary character. The 12 finalists receive a Macbook Pro and the opportunity to become one of the six Leaders for Life Scholars. The six winners of the competition receive a full 100% scholarship to the college of their choice, a value of up to $40,000.00.

Piper has been a Take Stock in Children Scholar since 2017. She leads an incredibly active role in the community and her high school. Piper is in the International Baccalaureate program, serves as the Yearbook Chief Editor, and has held leadership positions in various clubs including the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Mu Alpha Theta. She has participated in various outreach projects, and helped organize fundraiser efforts for a variety of programs through her church and community.
