The Okaloosa County School District celebrated the retirement of 92 employees at a beautiful luncheon held recently at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Niceville, Florida. Of those retiring, there was 1 School Board member, 3 Administrators, 1 Band Director, 3 Guidance Counselors, 42 Teachers, 5 Paraprofessionals, 4 Bookkeepers, 3 Secretaries, 1 Clerk, 1 Staffing Specialist, 3 Custodians, 1 School FSC Manager, 6 Lunchroom Works/Monitors, 1 Route Coordinator, 2 Transportation Assistants, 7 Bus Drivers, and 8 Maintenance personnel.

Patiently waiting for her small aircraft flight for three years, Margaret Langley, Antioch Elementary School’s Media Assistant, recently had her wish come true! The day before the annual ‘Marvel of Flight’ show in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Marge was able to soar to new heights in a Zenith Zodiac aircraft built and piloted by Gary Bean, a retired Air Force pilot and member of the Fort Walton Beach Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 108.
