Shalimar Elementary was the host of the second annual OCSD South-End Title I Family Night. In partnership with Origo Education, over 200 K-8 children and families experienced a night of curiosity about math and had a blast engaging in math games. Six Okaloosa County schools recently participated in the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Jail and Bail. The funds raised will be used to fund researchers and doctors in their continued effort to fight heart disease, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, placing Automated External Defibrillators (AED) devices in locations throughout the community, and educational material.
