Tania Owens, Wright Elementary School, has been named the District's Senior Volunteer of the Year. Owens’ passion is helping children learn and teachers teach. Her goal in volunteering at Wright Elementary School is to break down emotional barriers for children so they can focus on instruction and to alleviate tedious tasks from teachers so they can focus on teaching.

Lewis School's Title I Reading and Math students received special recognition at the Awards Ceremony this week at Lewis School. The students were honored for making outstanding growth in Reading and/or Math Remediation. Teachers, Mary Carnahan, Reading, and Suzette Breckenridge-Martin, Math, could not be more proud of the growth these students are achieving. Way to go Falcons!
