The Human Resources Department encompasses Insurance and Risk Management, Personnel Services, the Equity Office and the Office of Evaluation and Certification. Our mission is to attract, hire, retain and support the best and brightest educators and educational support staff for the Okaloosa County School District.
We accomplish this mission through policy and procedure administration, quality recruitment and retention, employee training, and providing a safe and efficient work environment.
The Human Resources Office is temporarily located at the Okaloosa Technical College at 1976 Lewis Turner Boulevard, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The Insurance Department, however, is still located behind the Bay Area Office in Fort Walton Beach. The Human Resources office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
