I am blessed to have been supported and encouraged by administrators, both past and present, who understand the importance of providing STEM opportunities to students. The ongoing training and support I receive from our county Career Technical Education department is invaluable. I couldn’t have accomplished much of what I’ve been able to offer my students without this support.

This award means so much to me because it is a recognition of the possibilities available in the discipline of STEM. The opportunities that are provided to the students would not exist without the support and freedom given to me by my administration. It is with their encouragement that I am motivated to provide new experiences in the STEM field to students who might not otherwise have the chance. Once again I thank the committee for acknowledging the efforts of teachers.
